Houlton High School senior Aubrey Swallow has been chosen to participate in the 2026 Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic. The annual Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic is the premier high school athletic event in the State of Maine. Over 140 All-Star football players and cheerleaders from over 60 high school programs across Maine are nominated as high school seniors and selected by the Maine Football Coaches Association to participate in this prestigious event. Since 1990, athlete fundraising missions have provided Shriner’s Children’s with net donations on behalf of the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic of over $1,000,000.
Middle Level Track and Field update from GHCA:
Good afternoon,
An initial Track & Field practice is scheduled for this Thursday, April 2nd from 5:15 - 6:30 at GHCA. Athletes should ensure they have the following items:
Water bottle
Running shoes
Weather appropriate running attire
Watch (preferably with a stop watch feature, does NOT need to be fancy)

✅ Or an amount for every successful kick made
All proceeds will go directly toward:
• Gatorade hydration & nutrition package
• Team warm-ups
• New jerseys
• Cold gear apparel
• Small-sided training goals
Your support does more than just help this year’s varsity team — successful and positive momentum promotes growth in our feeder programs at the middle school and rec department too.
