Welcome to the Transportation Department

Getting our students to and from school safely, reliably, and efficiently is our top priority. We understand that the school bus is an extension of the classroom, and our team is proud to start and end your child's educational day with a safe ride and a friendly face.

Our Daily Reach

Transporting a large student body across multiple communities requires careful planning, dedicated drivers, and a well-maintained fleet. Every single school day, our department is proud to provide services for:

  • 1,181 Students: Entrusted to our care for their morning and afternoon commutes.

  • 4 Communities: Proudly serving the towns of Houlton, Hammond, Littleton, and Monticello.

  • 17 Daily Runs: Carefully routed to ensure efficient, safe, and timely arrivals and departures across our district.

The safety of our passengers is at the core of everything we do. Our bus drivers are highly trained professionals who undergo rigorous background checks, regular safety evaluations, and continuous training. Furthermore, our mechanics maintain our fleet to the highest standards, ensuring every vehicle is in peak condition to handle the diverse weather and road conditions of our region.

  • Track Your Child's Ride with BusRight

    We know that peace of mind is invaluable when it comes to your child's commute. That’s why we partner with BusRight, a real-time school bus tracking app designed specifically for parents and guardians. With the BusRight app, you can see your child's bus location on a map, view estimated times of arrival (ETAs) for their specific stop, and receive instant push notifications about weather delays or route changes.

    How to Create Your Parent Account:

    1. Look for Your Invitation: You will receive an email invitation directly from [support@busright.com] containing your personal access link.

    2. Download the App: Click the link in your invitation email to download the free BusRight app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

    3. Sign Up: Open the app and follow the prompts to create your account. Important: You must sign up using the primary email address you currently have on file with the school district. The system uses this email to securely link you to your child's specific route.

    4. Verify & Customize: Check your inbox for a verification email to activate your account. Once logged in, you can set up your notification preferences and start tracking!

       

    Not seeing an invitation? Access to BusRight is generated automatically using the contact information provided to the school. If you haven't received an invite, please check your spam folder or contact your child's school office to ensure your email address is up to date in our system.
