Thank you everyone for your patience. After confirming with law enforcement, we believe there is no direct threat to RSU 29. RSU 29 is moving from lockdown to regular activities inside buildings. Houlton Police is working to further investigate the situation with other law enforcement units. Law enforcement will be supporting our schools and checking on buildings. Buildings will be secure with normal check in procedures.

A threat was made to one of our schools by phone this morning and out of an abundance of caution, Houlton Police recommended going into lock down. All RSU 29 is in a lock down until we establish the validity of the threat. Law enforcement is on site. Everyone is safe.

Houlton Southside School looking for Grade 5 Teacher

Good morning RSU 29 students, staff, and families. Today is December 11th and there will be a two hour delay for RSU 29 schools. There will be no AM Pre-K.

Hello RSU 29 Families,
Please come and see our music departments production of NEWSIES this weekend. Shows are Friday 11/21 and Saturday 11/22 at 7pm, and Sunday 11/23 at 2pm. Students and staff have been working hard to put this show together for your enjoyment. With over fifty cast, crew and musicians involved, this will be a fun weekend of live theater in Houlton! Enjoy the Show!

RSU 29 will be using BusRight for bussing management, and as a parent of an RSU 29 that utilizers our transportation services, you can now track when your student(s) bus will arrive in the morning and afterschool! Please see the attached flyer for more information about the app, and expect an invite to BusRight in your email over the next few days!
