Just a reminder, device turn-in will take place for grades 8 and 12 tomorrow in the HMHS Small Gym between 11:45 AM and 1:00 PM. Grades 9, 10, and 11 will also have their device turn-in in the Small Gym between 11:45 AM and 1:00 PM on Monday, the 9th! Please remind your students to bring their laptop, charger, and case when they turn in their equipment.

The HES Scholastic Book Fair is just around the corner! Once again, there is an opportunity for you to set up an eWallet so your child can purchase with ease during their turn at the fair. For many kids, the book fair is something exciting to look forward to, but not all students are fortunate enough to have the money to purchase something. In an effort to make this a good experience for ALL students, there is an option to "Share the Fair" on our webpage.

RSU 29 is Accepting ESEA Application Comments RSU 29 accepts funding through the Elementary and Secondary Act (ESEA) of 1965. As part of ESEA, RSU 29 is required to provide reasonable opportunity for public comment on the consolidated application and consider such comment prior to the submission of the application. RSU 29 is accepting public comment on the ESEA application through June 30, 2025. The application is available for review at the RSU 29 Central Office. The summer office hours are 7:30 am- 4:00 pm. If you have any questions regarding the application, please feel free to email your question to Melanie Blais, melanie.blais@rsu29.org, ESEA Program Coordinator.

RSU 29 has released the 2025-2026 Budget Warrant Articles on 4/30 to our town offices. We have also placed information on our website for community members to view. Documents include an explanation of the state funding model under ED 279, the public budget information session slide presentation, the warrant articles to be voted upon, and a cost center summary. We invite citizens to the RSU 29 Budget Validation Vote on May 12th at 6 pm at Houlton Middle High School Auditorium. Registered voters will check in with their individual town clerks. Information on the budget will also be reviewed prior to voting on the warrant articles. Thank you for supporting our students and staff in RSU 29.
